Palmetto Bug!

Before we moved to Florida, people warned us of the palmetto bugs. What's a palmetto bug? We didn't know until tonight. It is the largest cockroach I have ever seen. It is only matched in size by the scream that was let out when the wife discovered it in the dishwasher. Lets just say I am glad that our first palmetto bug experience came with less then a week away left in this apartment.

In other news we are moving back to the mitten in a few days. Mixed emotions, we have made so many memories and (I) will miss this weather like crazy. Going back to a place where it is COLD 8 months out of the year does not at all sound appealing when I have been in paradise. However, family and friends are more important to us then the weather. To bad we can't move 'em down here...

So Teej and I are going to be jumping from a plane at 18,000 feet on Saturday. This should be nothing short of.. epic.. More to come.
